IICADD Entrepreneurship Scholarships
Recognizing the best entrepreneurial project for starting a cooperative
IICADD Entrepreneurship Scholarships aim to spark community interest in entrepreneurship by encouraging inspiring cooperative creation projects.
Eligibility requirements
- Be enrolled in HEC Montréal’s EntrePrism.
- Want to start or accelerate a cooperative in Quebec.
How to apply
Interested parties should email the following documents in PDF format to iicadd@hec.ca:
- The business plan for their cooperative.
- A summary of their cooperative start-up or acceleration project, maximum three pages, presenting the needs analysis, governance structure, and relevance of the cooperative to its members.
- An up-to-date resume.
Applications may be submitted in English or French. Applications may concern creation of any type of cooperative.
Evaluation
Applications are evaluated by a jury composed of IICADD faculty and research staff based on the following criteria:
- Quality of the business plan.
- Relevance of the cooperative to its members.
- Quality of writing.
- Potential of the business plan for starting or accelerating the cooperative.
Applicants will be notified of the jury’s decision by email. The cooperative that wins the IICADD entrepreneurship scholarship will receive $5,000 and will be invited to present its project at an IICADD cooperative seminar open to all.
The deadline for application for the IICADD Entrepreneurship Scholarship is June 30, 2026.
